Join the “Dad Bods” and the Parks Foundation of Highland Park for a Slam-Dunk Day of Fun!

Grab two or three of your best “Dad Bod” friends, lace up your sneakers, and shoot some hoops for a great cause at the 2nd Annual Dad Bods 3v3 Charity Basketball Tournament on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Northwood Middle School. This indoor, half-court tournament features a 3-game guarantee, group stage into playoffs or consolation brackets, and games played to 11 (semis/finals to 21).

Why Should You Help Us Raise Money?

The event’s goal is to raise $10,000 in support of the Parks Foundation of Highland Park’s scholarship programs—helping ensure all Highland Park and Highwood families can access Park District programs, regardless of financial challenges.

Dad Bod Team Details

Each individual player comprising a team of 3–4 players can choose to raise or pay a minimum of $75 to participate, with an overall team goal of $225 or more in donations. $75 registration fee includes an official event T-shirt. Teams can also raise additional funds—the top fundraising team wins a prize!

   • To start a team, click Start a Fundraiser
     • Enter your team name and upload a photo.
     • Click Continue, enter your email and verification code.
   • To join an existing team, click Join a Team
     • Find your team. If you are not sure of your team’s name, begin typing the name of the person who created it in the search field, and the team should appear.
     • Enter your email and verification code.
2. You will receive a unique link via email to send to friends and family to donate to your fundraiser. This link is where you will pay (or fundraise for) your $75 registration fee.
3. The email will also contain an “Open my fundraiser” link to view your dashboard of money raised and a link at the bottom to invite others to your team.
