Ways to Give

We raise funds to support and enhance exceptional Park District projects and provide scholarship funding to ensure that all community members are able to participate in Park District programs.



The Parks Foundation of Highland Park welcomes gifts of all sizes.

Through the generous support of donors, the Parks Foundation funds a wide variety of programs and services that benefit Highland Park and Highwood residents. The Parks Foundation is classified by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization, EIN35-2507421. Contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law. 

If you would like your contribution to be directed to a specific Parks Foundation fund or campaign, please designate that with your contribution.

Payment options include: Credit Card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo, ACH U.S. Direct Debit, and Donor-Advised Funds.

Additional Ways to Contribute to the Parks Foundation

  • Become an Annual Individual or Corporate Sponsor: Partner with us as a sponsor for our annual Champions Celebration event! There are outstanding partner benefits at each sponsor level for individuals as well as businesses. View sponsorship opportunities from our 2026 Champions Celebration event.
  • Pledges: Confirm a multi-year commitment to the Parks Foundation of Highland Park. Terms and amounts vary.
  • Employer Matching Gifts: Many employers offer matching gift programs that can double — or even triple — charitable contributions made by their employees. We encourage you to check with your employer to see if a matching gift program is available and how to submit a request.
  • Donate from a Family Foundation: A great way to meet your minimum distribution requirement.
  • Donate from an Individual Retirement Account (IRA): Take a full deduction for any contribution made from an IRA. Charitable contributions may be counted toward your required minimum distribution.
  • Stocks and Other Securities: Donate stocks to avoid capital gains tax and deduct 100% of the contributions.
  • Bequest: Designate the Parks Foundation of Highland Park as a beneficiary in your estate planning.
